Is a valuation really free?
Yes. Sending photos and getting a price is completely free and there is no obligation to sell. You only go ahead if you are happy with our offer.
Do you really come to me?
Yes. Lex travels across the UK, particularly the North, to view, pay for and collect cars, so you do not need to drive anywhere or arrange transport.
Will you buy a car that is damaged or not running?
Often, yes. We buy runners, non-runners, damaged cars, high-mileage cars and MOT failures. Just send clear photos and tell us what is wrong.
How quickly do I get paid?
Once we have seen the car and agreed a price, payment is made promptly at collection.
Do I need the V5C logbook?
If you don’t have the V5C (logbook), we’ll supply the details for you to send to the DVLA, and we reduce our offer by £40 to cover the DVLA cost of a replacement. Having your service history and both keys to hand also helps us give the best price.
How much is my car worth?

Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire and cover the whole of the UK. Yorkshire and the North are on our doorstep, but distance is rarely a problem.
